I’m having this same issue! but something I’ve found that helps is drawing each individual illustration then putting them in a page layout, which forces you to work with what you have instead of drawing to fill the gaps 🙂

This page is illustrating fashion from my book Butterfly Effect. This is from the shooting range scene and the caption is actually refercening the song ‘Hide’ by dorian concept 🖤 The clothes he’s wearing is mostly just leather and some cool sunglasses. I feel like the reference I used is obvious, if you know who it is then I’ll be very impressed😆
