Personally haven't forgiven them for splitting the anti-Thatcher vote in the eighties . Add to that putting Cameron in power in 2010 they have enabled much of the mess we are in now.

Or he will tell you what he believes. Not "poll informed positions" (a phrase I heard on R4 this morning from an Obama era Democrat) and personally is much of what is bad with many politicians

Was going to say but you have forgotten.........but the list is to long and it it's far easier to just vote for someone who actually seems to stand for something. 💚

So do pictograms denote separation by sex, gender or what you happen to be wearing at the time? It has got beyond ridiculous and needs a GRA2 to fix the inconsistencies AGAIN.

But interested, does this cause issues in other EU languages or is it just the meat lobby flexing its muscles.

Sorry I know, me failing to be funny.

Or Ham?

Well yes I perhaps should caveat my statement with "an open and functioning democracy" which we don't have in the UK

And as much as I don't want it, if reform got over 50% of the vote they should be the government. You can't just support democracy when your side wins.

sadly her Bristol team are actually running the event. Seems to be all about attacking the greens rather than looking at what they stand for. Or that they actually stand FOR something
September 29, 2025 at 11:24 AM
So what is "Hold fast Labour" you ask? They seem to be a group from ThangamDebbs failed attempt to be Bristol MP who seem to think attacking the greens rather than asking why people might prefer the greens is the answer. www.holdfastlabour.org/holding-the-...

September 27, 2025 at 12:44 PM
yes the recently funded court cases which directly impacted trans rights make it easy to refute the arguments about separating the art and the artist

Yeap reads just like the times

Sorry don't know anything about Australian psychiatry but I did wonder about many of the unsupported statements of fact in the Australian article around detrans rates and gender affirming care. Is the Australian a Murdock paper by any chance?
August 30, 2025 at 10:14 AM
It's actually standard academic practice. We have rejected your paper because.... evidence from peer review.....

Have a chat with York labour lead. They are on the same journey and have gone from claiming no issue with national party at pride 2024 when we spoke, to issuing a statement prior to York pride 2025 reinforcing York as a trans inclusive city to head of the expected protests at the national position.

That was what someone on the party stall told my daughter at York pride this year and the local party said they were at pride and didn't support the national party on this issue. I was to busy talking to the greens who, again locally at least, were supportive

Anyone who is STILL a member is apparently comfortable with the transphobic policies of their government. Surprised it's so low. Anyone with an ounce of decency resigned over one of many issues years ago.

We always have had a gender identity, although apparently this labour government thinks we are all agender \ non-binary.
July 15, 2025 at 7:45 PM
Have they really just banned gender? "should not teach as fact that all people have a gender identity" To quote Inigo Montoya: "You Keep Using That Word, I Do Not Think It Means What You Think It Means"

But this time its in parliament so its an offence called "contempt of parliament" and should lead to her being prosecuted
