I finished tales of arise the other day. It was alright. Definitely just wanted to get it over with at some point. Last zone is particularly bad. But honestly they should've cut out like 25% of the dialogue in the game. It feels so repetitive and each character talks about their "one thing" always.

Clevatess gets my shining anime recommendation. Surprisingly good show. And like always, more anime needs metal in their openings.

I finished the ancient magus' bride. I have rather mixed feelings on the show. Really beautiful, some real emotional moments. But then S2 almost feels like it could be from a different series than the first. Not to say it was bad, I was still engaged. The S2 part OP is probably the best op I've seen

I finally got around to finishing Gintama. The last 2 seasons+movie have been on the burner for several yrs now. I forgot just how ridiculous and awesome Gintama can be and how I won't get an anime like it again. Gintama was among the 1st anime I started to watch bcuz of Sugita.

Finished up Rune Factory Guardians of Azuma the other day. It was alright.
Married Pilika and that turned out to be the best choice. Was very sweet and she's really cute.

To keep with my Fire emblem playthrough tradition, I played a Fates mod. I like the idea of using all the characters but vanilla Rev is just plain boring. So I gave SilentWaves a try and its fairly good. It changed a lot of the tedious Rev maps to altered conquest maps and they are better for sure

To keep with my Fire emblem playthrough tradition, I played a Fates mod. I like the idea of using all the characters but vanilla Rev is just plain boring. So I gave SilentWaves a try and its fairly good. It changed a lot of the tedious Rev maps to altered conquest maps and they are better for sure

I've finished Revelations, and honestly I don't think there's too much to say about it. Like it's fine, corrin still naive as ever and complicating bloodlines. Earlier maps felt super tedious and they gradually got a bit better. Maybe the only Endgame I didn't hate but I can appreciate conq a little

Alright, I've turned my Fire Emblem Fates Revelations run into an all Maid run. Not as hard I was expecting it to be but I think that's just because revelations is just too easy.

The only emotional moment in Fire Emblem Fates that has worked so far are Sakura's desperate pleas to let her heal the soldiers that are now being massacred.
If I wasn't so checked out of Conquests story in general I'm sure it would mean more but corrin and azura are so dumb I don't really care.

It's funny that fire emblem made Charlotte, Panette and maybe even Effie, canonically like or have fought with their fists but then gave none of them the inherit ability to be brawlers (minus reclassing Panette to monk which you probably wouldn't do)

Started Fire Emblem Conquest. Definitely much harder than Birthright. Not the biggest fan of some of these gimmicks but they've been enjoyable once I've figured what I should be doing.

Leave it to Fire Emblem Fates to be so dedicated to the sappy anime deaths that a character that commits suicide by lighting themselves on fire, is still able to have a sad death monologue while burning alive.
The only thing she should be saying is AHHHHHHHHH.
