And the end of the day, I felt pretty confidently tech'd for Sekka and Uma Aggro, which did end up making up the majority of Top 8 for the event, but the deck variety I saw in Swiss ended up being the killer.

Good riddance to this meta being over, I can't wait to play a real deck again in 14/15...

R4 L - 2nd Vs. Wasteland Abyss

Punched through 2 iceys but double Chris pumpkin seals the tempo deal.

Dropped at X-3 since cant bubble.

R3 L - 1st Vs. Mejiro Haven

Had bad tempo early on, he banished the Masq summoned off of Sincere on 5 which basically locked in a loss.

A misplay due to deck changes pre-event meant i was stuck with an un-evolved bacchus on my board and one less PP then I needed for removal.

R2 L - 2nd Vs. Vincent Rune

Had an FFG but he hit his 3s. Didn't really see any interaction pieces and Sincere Soul was 15 cards deep in the deck.

Couldn't do anything to contest and didnt curve out enough to race without Sincere Soul.

R1 W - 2nd Vs. Departed Abyss

FFG Ilga, FFG Icey. Dead Chris is hand.

Sincere on curve meant t6 hit for 13 (Phantom Howl + Masq Evo). Second sincere closed out the game quickly after on t8.

Of course its the only day all year im not in the province. Looks really cool!

Beyond these categories life has its own ups and downs.

Getting settled into a masters degree and sorting out summer internships if any, trying to iron out relationships and figuring out just where you want to go this year.

Last year was amazing, finally getting to actively engage with local theaters and seeing a load of new films.

We averaged around 1.5 movies a month. Would love to keep that cadence, and hopefully get to see more cultural staples.

Also making more use of LetterBoxed!

Upcoming February BCS im skipping out on to ideally spend time with my partner, but BP14/15 Handless means I can ditch departed finally!

Table Top RPGs 🎲

This is a weird one, and less a checklist, but last year I finally cracked my group into trying PF2E and I had a blast. Since im not GMing atm we are on Cyberpunk, but I would ideally love to run a few sessions of Spire and/or Heart and maybe another PF2e AP this year!

Final Fantasy 14 ✨️

• Prog new criterion to completion!

• M7 killed my prog group, would love to finish M9-M12.

• Occult Crescent Raid clear?

• Depending on new ultimate, continue old UWU prog or dip toes into new Ultimate!

• Try to push for 90s+ on DRG this tier.

Granblue Fantasy 🦋

• Do more Hexa and get the draconics over and done with

• Finalize a Faa0 team and finish at least dark or water dopus

• Seox 120? Or finish eternal 100s

• Nier uncap is going to be long needed to do the first two goals...

• At least two sparks!

• Versusia? Or close to r300?
