Shapiro has had his views on Israel closely scrutinized (which, in turn, has ignited a national discussion about antisemitism in politics). Here's one aspect of his bio the press has so far missed: Shapiro worked in the Israeli embassy's public affairs department, known as the Hasbara division, from April 1996 until September 1996. That part of his resume was confirmed by a Shapiro spokesperson who noted it was "in between jobs working for members of Congress... to get foreign policy experience. His job largely involved educating the public about Israel by visiting local schools and hosting open houses for the public at the Embassy." Shapiro would work there for less than six months before moving on to a job with Rep. Peter Deutch.

trump released the names of people who will "govern" and "rebuild" Gaza. White people in western liberal democracies, the same ones supporting israel, a white settler colonial apartheid ethnostate on its campaign of genocide and ethnic cleansing against Palestinians, get to decide who governs Gaza.

He has assembled a Board of Occupation.

The future of Gaza is not up to Trump, Blair or Netanyahu.
