Decided the next big coding project is a web-based animation editor for the MAX7219. Did a LOT of research yesterday on the default SPI pins for a ton of common control boards (that support MicroPython) (not done) and started the site layout. First big piece of that will be the layout editor:

started messing around with MicroPython last night for the first time in a couple years

Had a lot of fun at GFM this weekend, was super chill but also lots to do.

Had a lot of fun at GFM this weekend, was super chill but also lots to do.

printer ran out of ink right as I'm trying to print some stickers to give to a friend at GFM >:(
on the bright side, it was an excellent test for running the sticker paper I have through the laminator I got recently. Turned out much nicer than when I was applying vinyl by hand lol

Nextcloud doesn't like me uploading a 20GB tar archive so I guess it's the old-fashioned way of sticking it in the data directory with scp and updating the index manually

for some reason didn't gather that the cloudflare daemon for tunnels doesn't have to be on the machine that the services are on, just the network. got my proxmox web interface connected to that now :D

Today's island in Peak was very easy, got the sub-hour badge and made it to Ascent 5... which still isn't too difficult, just jumped in lava on accident lol

i think the biggest thing i dislike about the bluesky mobile app rn is how you cant switch accounts from the profile icon like on the website. tap and hold would be cool rather than having to go to settings

I think I figured out why my PC's been acting weird (needing the PSU to be switched off and on to start up)
just looked in to make sure all the power supply cables were plugged in properly & apparently when i redid my fans so they're not jammed in there, i didn't get 1 of the CPU cables all the way
