Great to see that step-free access on the terraces is taking shape. We're looking forward to offering more accessible walks in Crystal Palace Park once the works are complete.

A pop of colour 🤩 This stunning Amerine hybrid — a beautiful cross between an Amaryllis and a Nerine — brings the best of both worlds. Bold, graceful, and full of life.

It’s all happening on the terraces! For statues representing Turkey and Sheffield who have been here since 1854 this must be quite a change. Dante joined a little later, but he too finds himself surrounded by scaffolding and repair work.

Today after our gardening session, we shared a lovely treat. Lucrezia from Bici and Baci used figs harvested by our volunteers to make jam and this delicious cake. A simple and sweet way to enjoy the fruits of our work together.

The flowerbed at the Vicar’s Oak nearest the bus station is in full sun on an exposed site with poor soil. A constant case of trial & error for plants that will survive in our changing climate. We’ve been really pleased with these Aster amellus 'Forncett Flourish' from Old Court Nurseries #gardening

Friday morning gardeners had another busy session planting new Mediterranean plants in the sunniest part of the Vicars Oak flowerbeds. Then harvesting figs, seems this summer has been perfect for them.
