Watched Drop tonight as my first official October movie. This year, I'm only doing it on days I'm off or work from home. It was an okay movie but good god they really flitted from shot to shot. It was like the camera wouldn't linger on anything for more than 1.5 seconds.

When I'm watching a true crime documentary and they start speculating that something is a ritualistic killing...I'm just rolling my eyes so hard. Are we back in the 80s?

I finished writing my book nearly a year ago and it's just been sitting. I finally made myself edit it, though, and today I sent it to my wife and two friends. I guess I'll find out how shitty it is now lol.

Nearly crashed into the back of a Spectrum vehicle that switched lanes in front of me and then made an illegal u-turn on the interstate. Fun times.

I just suddenly remembered again that they canceled Perfect Dark and I'm angry all over again.

The most annoying thing in video games is when the character gives the same hint every 5 seconds. I've been replaying the Tomb Raider games and I keep having to mute it because some of those puzzles take a bit and she won't shut the fuck up.

We bought a bird feeder with a camera last weekend. I feel like I'm enjoying it way too much. Does this officially make me old? Anyway, here's our first cardinal visitor just after we put it up on Monday.

Here's hoping I don't wake up to a damaged car. We've already gotten some quarter sized hail.

I really need to remember to bring my meds the next time I put an animal down. Because I am going to cry so much that I give myself a migraine.

Tomorrow is going to suck. We have to put our dog down that we've had for 13 years and knew for 4 years before that when she was my brother's dog. Tonight she got filet mignon for her final dinner.

Lexie has been on FIP meds for nearly 12 weeks. We had her bloodwork done today and everything is normal limits so after Saturday she can go into the 12 weeks of observation. Here's hoping that goes well and this can all be over. Thanks to the few people who donated money. It was much appreciated.

I will be so happy when I can stop giving my cat meds every day. It's an absolute pain making sure she eats, making sure she's fasting at the correct time, and giving the actual pill. Not to mention the fact that it costs nearly $20 a day. But I love her so I do it. 4ish more weeks to go.

I can't believe I finally got to see Critical Role live. Definitely worth the trip from Kentucky.

Just made cupcakes for one of my dogs. She's turning 17 so I figured she deserves it.

I am so over being sick. I think I have the never ending cold.

One of my cats just stepped on one of my incision sites and oh my god that hurt.

I hate asking for money, but my cat is currently sick with FIP and everything is going to be quite expensive. I'd appreciate any help or if people could just share this.

Now that I've tested all these things, though, I'm definitely going to have to start eating less crap. But it was nice to be able to do it for a week.

I've had my gallbladder out for 9 days and I've already had sloppy joes, pizza, spaghetti, chocolate, fries...I was really afraid I was having it out for nothing but it seems like it was probably worth it. I haven't been able to have any of that for two years without worrying I'd have an attack.

I'm dying to have a slice of pizza. I couldn't before because I would inevitably have an attack. Now I'm trying to wait a few weeks post gallbladder surgery because I'm still living in fear.

So happy to finally have a physical copy of Hush. I'm probably going to have to watch it tonight.

Earlier this year, I said on here that I was going to write my first novel before my 40th birthday. After 113k words, I finished writing it today. I obviously need to read over the thing and make changes, but that can wait.

I've been trying to watch a scary movie every day this month but I have failed miserably. I will say that The Frighteners was surprisingly good, though.

Do only douchebags buy Teslas or do you just automatically turn into a douchebag the moment you buy one?
