“Don’t say that, don’t you ever say that. Are you really going to not celebrate the holidays with me? You know that breaks my heart.”

Valeria sighs softly “I also thought you promised that you would not be drinking anymore for the sake of our baby. What happened to that? Did you forget?”

“We don’t have to. If you aren’t going to feel comfortable celebrating the holidays then we don’t have to, Darling. We can do something more your style instead.”

Valeria is smiling down and Jessica and is also caressing Jessica’s hair gently “How does that sound, my love?”

“A lot. She’s really special to me, please be nice when you meet her because this is important for me.”

Valeria just smiles whilst watching Jessica talking to their son and almost instantly calming down is what he does. Valeria then smiles again at Jessica.

“Keep talking with him baby, I think he loves the sound of your voice. He is now doing more gentle kiss in response of your voice.”

She really isn’t much for being a people person, but if you really want to meet her I can ask her.

Valeria just smiles at Jessica, the same smile she shared with Jessica the moment she realised that she is in love with Jessica for the first time.

“I love you so much, too.” Valeria smiles and leans in and presses kisses on Jessica’s lips “You are so beautiful, baby. So-so beautiful.”

“I’m here baby. I’m right here and you will never be alone again, okay? I promise that you will never be alone again.”

Valeria gently takes Jessica’s hand and lightly places Jessica’s hand over her bump and then smiles warmly and lovingly at Jessica “Because you have both of now and always will.”

“I’m worried about you baby, really worried.” Valeria has now gently taken Jessica’s hands and looks into Jessica’s eyes whilst caressing Jessica’s hand.

“Are you sure that you are going to be okay baby? Do you need anything? Water? Cuddles? A massage? Whatever you need I can make it happen.”

“Baby, remember you aren’t the only one with super strength because I have it too.” Valeria exhales softly and looks into Jessica’s eyes.

“Our little one was going to have powers regardless if they are yours or mine, that’s just a reality that we are going to have to accept baby.”

Valeria is rubbing Jessica’s hand but is also really worried about Jessica and because of that Valeria nods her head.

“Can we try my dad first and if that fails then we can ask my mom’s friend. I heard them talking a few days back and from what I heard she had a lot going on in her life too.”

Valeria is now looking at Jessica with a little bit of fear in her eyes but also Valeria’s eyebrows have quickly laced together with concern.

“Then what do you suggest that we do if he is born with your powers and not mine? It isn’t like we can just magically take your powers away from him.”

Valeria doesn’t hesitate and is quick to comfort Jessica whilst gently caressing Jessica’s hands after Valeria placed a kiss on them.

Whoa, baby. I need you just to breathe for me. Can you do that? I can handle this baby because my DNA is different from other humans, everything will be okay.”

Valeria takes a few breaths and smiles before placing Jessica’s hands on her bump “I’m okay baby but feel, they are kicking away in there.”

Valeria is smiling at Jessica when the baby is kicking against Jessica’s hands “I think our little one will have your strength baby. No, I know that will.”

“Neither do I, since training our child to bite isn’t allowed because laws exist. Yawn. We can just tell him that mama and mommy will defend him but he has to tell us what we are defending him from first.”

Valeria grimaces suddenly and immediately puts her hand to her bump and leans forward.
