As opposed to the recently released "Russian wish-list", here's what an actual "peace plan" should reasonably include:

Looks like a choke-hold, which makes this even more egregious.

Legos -- more than just fun to play with.

Over a million children worldwide have interacted with LEGO’s MRI Scanner set, designed to reduce anxiety during MRI procedures through play. Since 2023, over 10,000 sets have been donated globally through various partnerships.

Great to see this kind of push-back.

Also, that "don't change the subject or deflect" is particularly crazy, since that is what this regime does continually.

So, when might the shutdown actually end?

Well, there are a number of steps between now and when something lands on the president's desk for signature.

Note: Sen. Rand Paul is so concerned at the good of all the people that he will be focusing on an amendment related to HEMP IN HIS STATE.

Self-interest voting much?

--Matso from Nevada seems only concerned with the tourism and hospitality there.

--Kane only seemed worried about the impact on the federal workforce in his state.

I guess the idea of the Senators looking at the good of the country as a whole is just a pipe dream.

In case you are wondering where recent pressure to end the shutdown came from --seems like airlines looking after their own interests and ignoring long-term impacts.

I see Musk got his "feelings" hurt by Oates recently.

Just a reminder that "this one state's stupidity can cause serious illness or even kill globally."

More proof that--at leas the FL GOP--doesn't care about anyone but themselves.

I guess COVID didn't teach them a damn thing.

I see California has entered the chat with shutdown messaging on websites -- though at leas this is more informational than inflammatory.
October 23, 2025 at 7:34 PM
Saw this message on the Small Business Administration website today from the "liar, liar, pants-on-fire Republican administration."

How pathetic they are.

Maybe if they actually went to work they could reach a bipartisan resolution.

I guess that's not what they want.
October 21, 2025 at 1:34 AM
This certainly does feel like a "let them eat cake" time for the country.
October 3, 2025 at 10:33 PM
The government shutdown doesn't just mean workers are set home and national parks may reduce services or close.

The health of acute patients is at risk and further exacerbates an already strained health care system.

In today's episode of "lies our government told us:"

Also, that quote at the bottom from Scott Turner is completely inappropriate for a government web site.

A picture is worth a thousand words.

So -- this is the guy that thought it was okay to mock the attack on Pelosi's husband?

Sounds like he has a double-standard problem.

The lack of humanity and extreme fear-mongering ( with no factual basis) is appalling.

According to the White House schedule for Thursday, June 26, 2025, President Trump is scheduled to participate in "One, Big, Beautiful Event" at 4:00 PM EDT in the East Room. This event is open to pre-credentialed media.

Apparently, "everyday Americans" will be "making the case" for his BBB:

This pretty much sums things up 😢

Found this link very interesting. The fact that "paid attendees" are being recruited for the "birthday parade" in DC shows just how little support it really has.

Ironic that attendees are apparently being paid by someone who constantly carps about "paid protestors".

So. Much. Ignorance.

Also the "May God have mercy" ending to her post takes hypocrisy to a whole new level.

If Rep. Mary Miller is your representative -- what were you thinking?

Nice to see this from the Episcopal Church
