But that also would turn off the billions in venture capital flowing into the company, so no way. What we get instead is the tech-bro equivalent of “thoughts and prayers.” And don’t think a lawsuit would help, because the company would just judge-shop for the most AI-friendly jurisdiction.

Fun fact: today I feel like I need a lot more lights and production for people pics, but back in the ‘70s we though all we needed were a big soft light, a plain background, and a model with a great personality… gotta say I still like that formula!

See, I get the Big Picture, so there's no point in contemplating all the ugly little brushstrokes. There's absolutely nothing I can do to stop them, so knowing about them just makes me tense and frustrated. For now I'm content to tune him out as I wait for Father Time to issue the ultimate recall.

Putin will continue to play him like a piano. He'll brag a lot and do little... except for an ongoing, focused effort toward advancing the two billionaire-Republican core values: Rich People Must Not Be Taxed and Businesses Must Not Be Regulated.

Wait, you say, don't I feel ill-informed? Not really. I clearly remember his Term I sh*tshow, and let's face it, we all know the sequel is going to be the same thing only worse. He'll make up stuff, he'll aggrandize himself and belittle opponents, he'll issue random edicts based on Fox News chatter.

Now my news feeds, both reverse-chronological and trending, are almost totally free of any mention of our Felon-in-Chief (he does slink in occasionally through a photo.) I can scroll through all the rest of the world's news without being subjected to Mad King Carrothead's latest lies, brags, & spew.
