Yeah I get that and you want your best player on the pitch and Mikel has said the best players like Messi have to expect to play all the time, but, but, look how many injuries we keep getting. Some rest is necessary and Noni is a great player.

Why didn’t Noni get any game time in the last two league games? I thought both games would have benefited from his presence. Do you think it’s because we weren’t two goals up at any point? Arteta still seems very predictable in his use of subs. #arsecastextra

I find it hard to understand how Madueke hasn’t played in the last two games. Not Eve for a second. Seems the perfect player against tired defences.

Usually I’ll celebrate a last minute winner like a mad man, but this one made me laugh ruefully, shake my head and think, well, that was bloody lucky.

I’m about your age Andrew and love the FA Cup. The first 3 Arsenal games I watched on telly from here in Australia were the Cup Finals in 78, 79 and 1980. I still feel the magic of the Cup in a way I don’t quite as much about the Champions League. I’d love to win the Champions League of course.
