I watched a comedy in Bulgaria that was in English with Bulgarian subtitles and was the only one laughing at first for each joke and then everyone else would join in.

And as a doctor -- yes, I'd take less pay so that my patients could actually get the care that the need and deserve! Yes, yes, yes. This dysfunctional system makes everything harder and it would be so much more rewarding to just focus on the people rather than the stupid system.

I got some bitcoin from a faucet when it first started and then had to eventually go back onto an old hard drive to find it once it hit $60K and it became worth it

I regularly call taxis to take patients to the hospital who otherwise would refuse and go home rather than pay to have an ambulance take them. It only takes one huge bill before they balk

I think she was a not very well educated person who came into government with a lot of misunderstanding of the world and what was possible in the House and has now seen it's all malarkey. I actually believe that she is disillusioned and would be surprised if she ran for anything else

I feel like everyone thinks that AI is great for other industries but not for anything that they actually themselves know a lot about. Oh, it's great for drug discover (drug researcher says nope). Oh, it's great for medical conversations (doctors say nope). Just better to avoid it imho

On the surface what you say is self-evidently true. Wild conspiracy theories are silly. But without specifically saying which conspiracy theories you find wild you will always be able to just "be right." A NYT reporter had incriminating photos of DJT on his work email and nothing came of it. Wild?

MTG also made her own way to her seat without Trump's help. She's also clear eyed that his policies are hurting her family and constituents and knows she's going to have to pay the piper eventually. She's a nut job but has good instincts for her district

I feel like Wikipedia is one of the few places that still embodies what I felt about the original Internet I experienced in the mid 90s. Bunch of people doing things to make the world better and spending a lot of volunteered time for it
