Physician in the Midwest. Father and husband. Dogs, rabbits, chickens, a cat, and a turtle, oh my!
We don’t have to imagine it, it would be a combination of Trump’s response to COVID and Argentina’s economic collapse. A lot of “like a dream, it’ll all go away” denialism followed by a trillion dollar giveaway to his rich buddies and sycophants.

To this administration walking while brown is apparently potential death penalty territory

Ethnic cleansing? Remigration? Racism? Fascism? Unconstitutional? Evil?

I hope Coraline made the list! That one is endlessly rewatchable for my entire family. One of those movies where, no matter what you’re doing, you’re going to sit down and watch it when you see that it’s on.

Tech bros say “tech utopia” but what they’re really selling is “feudalism”. The rest of us have a place in it, they just don’t want to draw attention to it until the tech bros can buy their way into making it happen.

That essay was written hungover the Sunday afternoon it was due and hastily finished by 11:53 pm to make the online submission cutoff. I have no proof of this as of yet, but I doubt anyone who has gone to or taught at OU will take bets against this being mostly true.

The tornadoes are exciting. Nature's wonders and all that. Self-righteous prigs and their efforts to hoist their beliefs on everyone else, however, -10/10.

I would support those top 3 for the Democratic Party leadership, never mind just a Senator from Texas.

Doesn’t even qualify as a paper. This is just a dictated Facebook rant with no cited sources and no evidence.

As someone with a degree from the University of Oklahoma, I am thoroughly embarrassed at being even peripherally associated with this slop, and the University response.

To be fair, she’s probably doing fine in matriculating her M-R-S studies at the University of Oklahoma.

He pardoned Ross Ulbricht and Larry Hoover as well. The naked hypocrisy is a feature, not a bug of MAGA. He actively is cultivating a country where rules are only for his non-supporters. There are 2 types of Trump pardons - the rich, and the conspicuously MAGA, like working class J6ers.
November 29, 2025 at 4:15 PM
It still is pretty simple, I think. Trump sells pardons for $$$. It's well documented. I guarantee if we were able to follow the money Trump is now richer by at least a 6 figure amount, if not more.

2/ The answers are *probably* pretty obvious: Trump is a terrible President and the GOP has pulled a hat trick of being virulently anti-asylum, anti-brown people in general, and also demonstrating no loyalty to the Afghans that put their lives on the line to work with the US in Afghanistan.
November 28, 2025 at 9:18 PM
This guy worked with US troops and the CIA against the Taliban. Through his work he probably saved lives of Americans who were in Afghanistan. He had many opportunities to turn on the US overseas and here. Qs journalists need to be asking but won’t: what happened in 2025 to make this happen now?

Nazis are back in full swing, though! Time for a reboot

I’m glad Admin hacks like Cheung and Leavitt are throwing temper tantrums. It means they’re on the back foot and losing. "If you have the facts, pound the facts; if you have the law, pound the law; and if you have neither, pound the table.” There’s a lot of table pounding going on from Trump down.

Greed, that’s why. These people measure their worth by their portfolios above all else. If greed was not their primary motivator, they wouldn’t expend so much effort and shady dealing into becoming billionaires in the first place.

Is he going to find time to write the $2000 checks to everyone in 2 weeks? I remember when Biden sent everyone $1400 in a check and Republicans thought it was the worst thing ever that spiralled inflation. I guess there must be some super special secret formula when Trump does it that avoids that.
November 27, 2025 at 3:01 PM
Except you can. Anyone with a $3000 CNC mini mill can make their own lower receiver. The rest of the AR is just mail order that any number of red-blooded 'Muricans will happily send to a budding criminal.

It's because the kleptocracy's entire reason to get into politics is to hoard more money. The only thing the GOP can quickly agree on is making policy to send more money to the rich and corporations. It is entirely antithetical to their core to spend the resources on competent management.

The Marquis de Lafayette was also one of the richest men in France at the time of the American Revolution, so don't despair. If you're not leading the Second American Revolution at the age of [REDACTED], it's probably less to do with your skills and more to do with not being a trillionaire.

Silly, everyone gets a gun in the US. We have 400 million guns - more guns than every man, woman and child. More guns make us safer! So the gun nuts tell us. Armed society, polite society, blah blah blah.
November 27, 2025 at 4:48 AM
It's not misleading - the order is on hold only because Trump didn't want to send the troops home. Two servicemen are shot because instead of sending them home per the judge's orders, Trump kept them there and appealed.
