Pro be whatever you want to be (except a racist, etc. MAGAt).
I also think a factor in his election was the reality show aspect of it for a lot of people. He made people laugh (at him, with him, or out of astonishment) and the people wanted to keep watching.

I think that someone is Stephen Miller, our shadow president.

Oh, I get it. She won “his” Nobel Peace Prize.

And it’s not a gateway drug!

This book review reminds me of when Natl Geo. had a show where people literally lived as though they were in another era: Victorian; 1800’s Frontier, etc.
Houses were fitted with those era fixtures; they had to dress that era. Fun to watch and a struggle for participants!

He’s not supposed to obey illegal orders. Why didn’t he stand up to them?? There were no enemy combatants and were not at war.

I’ll check it out next time I’m at B&N. Thanks.

Tell him they’ve already been built. Since they are “stealth” he can’t see them. Just like the stealth fighter jets.

They are not laughing now because they are scared shitless.

He has the nuclear codes and a military that doesn’t know what illegal orders means.

Funny thing is, one of the worst books I’ve ever read was by John Irving: The Hotel New Hampshire. I hate that I even have to mention it. It’s a truly horrible read.

I did read The Red Tent many many years ago and my memory of it was I wish I didn’t spend time reading it.

Another favorite (which I refused to read for years): A Prayer for Owen Meany.

It’s still my favorite book!

The author is a Jewish male. It’s a story set in the 11th century. Women had little to no autonomy until fairly recently so this story is not unusual. It’s honest in its portrayals. And it’s still a great read!

I agree but overall the book was great. And people repeat generalizations and stereotypes all the time. I pay no attention because I know it’s gen./stereo. And the author is Jewish.

That is a poorly drawn Stephen Miller. It needs to look more subterranean, evil, and less human.

Look like?

We ARE fools (not me. I didn’t vote for him).

And, he’s an idiot.
