Raw predation that’s infuriating and murderously criminal. To me, the entire sordid hell that has become US insulin (rationing and all the resulting deaths, profit margins thru the stratosphere, et Al) for something that runs only $2-4 a bottle to make yet needed by so many, exemplifies the rot.

A titch off-topic: for contrast, in my region of the US, the latest Covid booster currently runs $194 and change for those without health insurance. Not even state assistance anymore to help mitigate the cost.
