Have you read the first tweet in the thread?

Maybe read the graphic in your first tweet. All previous tweets are about California.

Teslas trouble is that the EV market share shrunk, which was unexpected.
That's actually not good for anybody
October 13, 2024 at 11:50 AM
Yeah, they were at ~95% in 2017, they've been dropping steadily since then. This is nor bad nor good, it is expected.
Amul butter is still King!

It's 51%. Down about 16 points not 50. And still amajority of EV sales.
October 13, 2024 at 11:43 AM
It's not a 50% drop in market share, check your math.
October 13, 2024 at 11:40 AM
It is truly remarkable how much Biden/Harris supporters continue buying and owning Teslas.

Sorry to rain on your parade, but no it is not:

And a dozen Trump-sceptic Republicans who might be persuaded to vote for Harris.

I don't think this emerged from innate conservatism or bosses' pressure.
It's their ego.
They want to think of themselves as 'smart, non-partisan and principled'.
But when the truth is mundane and partisan, they have to bend over backwards to maintain this perception.

More worthy tasks include
1. Hit Dems from the left,
2. Take an extremely both-sidesy approach on every issue
3. Take a "Not Evil, Just Misunderstood" view of Trump and his voters, scolding the mainstream media for misunderstanding them.
October 10, 2024 at 6:43 PM
I think you're missing one thing: Social approval.
In the Trump era, the task of fact-telling with some normie liberal opinions thrown in like Chris Matthews or Jonathan Capehart is considered lowly in Washington.

Isn't this the real use of the accountant? Like now you tell them to handle the audit?
October 8, 2024 at 7:17 PM
Most people don't know, but one way to make social media is to liberally use Block/Mute.
It not only gives your life peace but also reduces the reach of the account being blocked a lot.
IIRC old twitter had something like a 1 block = -86 likes ratio in the distribution algo

Dick Cheney is a war criminal who deserves to be tried in The Hague.

Dick Cheney’s endorsement of Kamala Harris is also part of what we’d want an actual popular front against fascism to look like.

Both can be true! Life is complicated!

Tbf, even left-of-center public figures were very bought into the recession narrative.
Even figures with economic expertise, like Warren and Krugman.

This happened after the election.
In summer 2020, there was very high unemployment.
