(She/Her) Fan of fantasy stories, in their many forms. Wife, Mom, Dungeon Master. Enjoy nature, critters, rocks, leaves, and all of those good things. (Profile art from the Warbreaker book series)
I grew up in FL, and they made HUGE webs. One had made a web from our house to our neighbors (like 12’ between), and when I ran through, the spider stuck across my face. I let out a shriek and my neighbor came running out to “rescue” me. They’re pretty, but they have given me the creeps ever since.

None of those say he hates the person. That’s you projecting.

Papyrus is great as a graphic font, but it’s probably not the clearest to quickly read on a screen for people that are even a little visually impaired.

I’d like to see that verse. Could you provide it? Proverbs 6:19 says there are six things the lord hates, and only one of them is a person. “A false witness who pours out lies and a person who stirs up conflict in the community.” That feels more like what YOU are actually doing.

Fair enough. You definitely should have autonomy over your own image.

I’m retired from tech. It was my industry. My daughter is a professional artist, who is also learning how to integrate an AI world into their traditional canvas profession. It’s a resource if you are interested. Either way, good luck.

Makes sense. It does look pretty cool. Probably helps keep the cat from napping on it too.

This series makes the momma in me want to run a blanket to her and ask if she needs help (especially the one where she is holding her hip and covered in mud), but I guess that goes to show it conveys vulnerability and a little danger to specific viewers. It is well done.

Is there a functional reason behind the pyramid, or is it more for the aesthetic?

If that’s not already a PokeStop, it should be.

(Not associated with them. Just a decent listen.)

I can understand it for feed filtering uses, but that wasn’t quite what was communicated.

If you are interested in AI and the environment, this was a pretty decent podcast episode for a lighter dive into it. (It’s not argumentative, more data based.)

Does labeling change that somehow?

You know BlueSky uses AI for moderation, so you are supporting AI every time you post here?

Every time you use your debit card, your bank uses AI for categorizing and security. Every time you use a streaming app, AI feeds analytics to recommend your next show.

The angles of her pose against the angled walls, played up by the sharp shadows, make for a captivating image.

Pretty much everything uses AI that costs jobs. BlueSky uses AI. Your bank uses AI. All of the streaming companies use AI. Food gets into stores using AI. Search engines use AI. Everyone will keep right on using them, while complaining over it being used in some other obscure thing.
