The construction of Enterprise was a truly global effort. As the ship was meant to represent all of humanity, companies throughout the world were contracted to build the ship.

The OTV type K42 shuttlepod was constructed by the aerospace firm Antonov in Kyiv, Ukraine. While the pods aboard Enterprise were officially called Shuttlepod 1 and 2, the crew affectionately named them Eagle and Aquarius, after the LEMs on Apollo 11 and 13, respectively.

Born Hadia Al-Ghazzawi, she moved to Davenport, Florida when she was four. Her best friend was Amanda Cole. At age 15, Amanda moved to Proxima Centauri, where she was tragically killed in an Orion pirate raid. Hadia joined the MACOs and chose "Amanda Cole" as her nom de guerre per Arab tradition.
