An anhinga (Anhinga anhinga). Also known as the snake bird or water turkey, these birds can be a year-round resident of Florida.

This anhinga was sitting in the rain with it's mouth open at the Celery Fields, Florida. It eventually flew off.

It wasn't ideal conditions for good photos, but it was really cool to see this bird in New England!
