For me with Ghoulcy, I just think had Lucy been in Cooper's timeline before the war, they would have clicked instantly. Besides, both have that old Hollywood vibe, that delicious age gap...just mmmm 😍

After all the foreshadowing & parallels in season one it just perfectly sets season 2 up for them to bond and they could quite easily become attached in a way that's more than friendship. That definitely isn't a reach - it's a very likely possibility.
