Its not like we could rely on any deal being solid or long lasting anyway. Time to move on from whats going on in the US, and work with sane, reliable partners

What i picture when i hear #poilievre talk about the same old "the sky is falling" rhetoric he has been spewing for years.
October 1, 2025 at 11:44 PM
It is. Pretty bad when you feel you need to verify what you're reading from what is supposed to be a reliable Canadian news source.

Its what bugs me the most about #CBC these days, they leave out important facts, and rage bait everyone. Thats why i had to look it up, i was shocked anyone would have been offered a 13% increase in a single year and turn it down.
September 27, 2025 at 10:36 AM
I dont know, i just looked it up and it said the offer was over 4 years. I dont see anywhere that it says 12% the first year. 12% the first year and another 5% for 3 years would be like a 27% increase.
September 27, 2025 at 10:29 AM
Its misleading, it was 13% over 4 years.

Quite the spin they tried to put on it.

What organization was that reporter with, who asked that question.
August 22, 2025 at 8:40 PM
100% correct!! I feel bad for the CN and Postal workers who got screwed over with back to work legislation.
Air Canada flight attendants just scored a big win for organized labour in Canada, we should all be thankful for thier soladarity and determination!

I was surprised to see that much, but very happy to see it.

Our local grocery store has added a "T" to any item affected by tarrifs, as well as the Canadian label. They have also posted on Facebook about how they are making every effort to buy produce grown anywhere but the USA.
