“Why would you sing the national anthem for the people who’d been killed by soldiers? Why cover the coffin with the Taekgugi? As though it wasn’t the nation itself that had murdered them”

Giving 5/5⭐ for her memoir. Wherever she is, I hope she's continue to be happy, found peace, and continue to make music someday.

I was so mad with her boyfriend (y'all know who) and her ex husband but really though, the real devil turns out to be her family. Overall, I'm glad she finally speaks up on her memoir about what she's been through in the past. And I love how she thanked her fans in between for being there for her.

She tells you about her sole happiness is singing and dancing (also her sons in later bit) but everyone around her keeps failing her especially her family. When they supposed to be her main support system, instead they kicked her around, making her their 'bank account'.

Her writing style feels like when a good friend is telling you her life story, it's simple, raw, and straightforward, so even if your English isn't that good, I think you'd still understand her words. Her memoir starts from her childhood until the end of conservatorship.

When she's finally freed from conservatorship, I was so happy because it's about damn time and she absolutely didn't deserve all those ugly treatment for 13 years. While I was kind of curious about how she managed to survive, I finally had a chance to read her memoir thanks to Libby.

When I heard about the hashtag FreeBritney sounding all over Twitter, I looked up the news and realized she was in conservatorship program under her father for so long. My thought was okay why the hell a grown woman need her family to watch whatever she does for?
