graves for the people they hit

trying to imagine the popular response if there was similar data showing that 43% of some type of law-breaking in Lysander was committed by City residents

maybe suburban car drivers are more likely to break the law than Syracuse residents are, but it's a fair bet that this just reflects the sheer amount of city car traffic that originates in the suburbs

it is always funny to me when car drivers complain about this stuff

oh, you're upset because the state is spending billions of dollars on car-only infrastructure, and they're doing it quickly?

coming from ped/bike/bus world, just can't relate to that specific problem, sorry for you though I guess

interesting to see the explanation, but gotta say I'm not looking forward to getting to and standing along one of the most unpleasant spots in the county

is there some kind of compromise location like Onondaga Lake Park that's visible to cars but also accommodates more rally-type activity?

would like to see a version of this map that's more comfortable with making these categories overlap instead of representing them as mutually exclusive

Like, I get the decision to say Buffalo is a Great Lakes city, but it's also an Upstate City and should definitely not be separated from Rochester

here's a photo looking down Cedar Street from State Street (basically the plaza in the proposed city hall) from 1961

you hear a lot about Centro's 'image problem,' but find a situation where traffic is bad, parking sucks, and the bus runs frequently, and all of a sudden people love it

fwiw the security guard did suggest a detour (red), but it was to get on State Fair Blvd and bike through Lakeland which adds a mile to the trip and really misses the point of the Lake Trail
