This was so much more trouble than I thought! If it wasn't for the fact that I love this fabric, I would have chopped it up and burned it.

On the last day, I'm wearing my most recently finished project: these linen short! These were originally a dress that I made several years ago. It no longer fits so I cut it up to make shorts and a top. The top is cute, but not practical for my day of chasing around a baby.

It seems the easiest way for me to wear handmade is to just wear my hats. I've made so many over the years and that continue to serve me well.

Today, I'm wearing my self-drafted skirt that I based on a popular Aritzia dress. I wore this for my pirate costume, but i was intending it to be an everyday skirt. Black doesn't photograph well, but the fabric has threads of gold and white running through it.

I've got on my Beauty School Top by Poison Grrls in this gorgeous orange. I love the accent of green that I did with the ribbing. Unfortunately, my cats got a hold of this one so there are some loose stitches that got caught on a claw.

Stuck with some stormy weather, so I'm pulling out the wool hats. This one is my own design I call the "Cable Crossing hat". It's knitted flat and then seamed and I had never done that on a hat before.

This is the Sara vest by Claudia Quintanilla knit up in a skein of fingering weight yarn. I wanted to see how far I could stretch a single skein. And while it fits, it's a bit too cropped for my usual tast now and I struggle to find the right items to pair it with.

This is the Coeurs et Fleurs hat by Linda Irving-Bell that according to my Ravelry notes I made back in late 2019, early 2020. I remember being so proud of this as it was the most complex project I had made with the lace chart. So glad I'm still wearing it 5 years later!

I thrifted this lace top. It was cute on the hanger, but it did not fit me.
With a seam ripper and a bit of stretch lace, I opened up the sides of the top and added in the lace pieces.
Now it fits so much better and I don't have to worry too much about the front buttons flying open

This is one of my proudest makes: the Decades of Style Ophelia Overalls!
I used some leftover denim which required the color blocking with the stripes. I even attempted some topstitching.

I'm wearing my Ginkgophyte tee from PomPom Spring 2019. When I tell you this shirt was a labor of love, I mean it. It was the most complex project I had ever done at the time. It took me about a year to finish it finally. But I love the way it came out.

Today, I'm wearing the socks that I DESIGNED all by myself!
This truly was a labor of love cause I frogged that instep lace 3 times. But I love them, and I hope to write/video a tutorial on how to make your own sock tube socks soon! 🧶

Wearing my most recent large knit: my heart on my sleeve sweater. I made this for valentines day and even though I f-ed is up several times it still came out super cute.

Today we are going to Ren Faire so I'm wearing my Ariza dupe skirt that I hemmed literally the night before. It's made from a shirting fabric which was just a dream to work with. Also, we used cardboard to make my daughter's stroller look like a pirate ship.

I realized I haven't shown off April's socks yet so here they are! These are the Muscadine socks from Sockuppied. I made them from a sock set which unfortunately didn't have enough of the contrasting color (but ive cleverly hidden that in the photos) 🧶

I cannot find the pattern for this dress but it's one of my recent completed pieces. I love it! It's super comfortable and the lines of the bodice are great. I added black flower trim to the hems for visual interest.

Pulled back out my cotton elastic pants. They are the most comfortable item I own for working from home. These are Simplicity 1887 and I actually thrifted the pattern and while ago and was lucky enough that it hadn't been cut out yet.
