A slightly atypical interview-based podcast.
The show helps explore many of the interests I have, including board and all things creating. Listenable everywhere—Spotify link attached: https://shorturl.at/TPvYP
Congratulations!!
Wish I was there but am super psyched seeing all the awesome work being done. Thanks for putting a spotlight on indie games and designing awesome games in general 🙂

see with these four games should get you quite excited about them. So conjure up some Halloween spirit and check these out.
@asmeesh.bsky.social @saibep.bsky.social @thisnorthernboy.bsky.social & konbou_club have made some absolutely amazing illustrations for these games 🔥

Excited to see the number when you’re ready to unveil that information.

(I read that as something Michelina’s and thought of the frozen meals; distracted brain, 😅)

Very true! I guess I don’t think about designing euro games either, only hybrid climbing things and ridiculous dexterity games 😂
I technically did have some early card-throwing/rummy and partnership “memo-rummy” game thoughts.
Your cards look great—looking forward to seeing how great the game is!

to the BGG ratings, there's only one in the top 1000, and that's Mahjong.

Looking forward to yours being up there 🙂

Hearing you talk about studying Rummy and older designs when we chatted was a lot of fun. I'm a fan of a good Rummy game, but while I can conceptualize—at the very most/least as I don't design much—creating games for most genres, Rummy always stumps me as a thought experiment. At least according

Got the launch notification and was super tempted to just buy it.
The back log is a little too big to justify getting it right now, but it will inevitably be in my collection at some point.

The number of times where I get excited to play ~30 minutes of Steam Deck to cap off a night but then am too tired by the time that comes is nearly every night.

At least there's that excitement.

Really excited to see your Rummy games!
October 11, 2025 at 2:03 AM
I read them so you don’t have to.

Feel better soon!

It's perfect.
And seeing as the three of you designed the two games in the newest Bitewing Mythos line, I have to say that I'm loving Azure on BGA and am excited to get both super fancy physical productions in my hands!
October 8, 2025 at 1:47 AM
The trilogy is complete 😊

In person—Iliad and my game. Online, a bunch; I’d say Shock Knights has been on that’s stuck out to me as a recent gem on BGA that I’d love to play in person.

Leviathan Wilds is high on my to playlist, and I’m hoping this week is the week!

Not sure if it was the browser or connection, but this set of nested messages seemed to break my Bluesky the way a Pynchonian page breaks my brain. Thank you for this write-up though! After finishing a few things (GR included..), I think I’m going to read a little DeLillo and return to Pynchon.
October 6, 2025 at 5:08 PM
Well.. it is now.
Based on the mechanisms, that will actually fit really well compared to this arbitrary condition I had in there and will provide some more fun text-linked “chrome” (kind of embarrassed I didn’t think of this).
If/when this gets done, you’re getting rulebook note shout-out!

It’s gone through quite a bit of change. It was also something I was going to try to make for a compendium initially and then re-theme. Going to be a little tough to make that happen, so I’ll just pour myself into this one.
tl;dr: As soon as it’s done, it’s all yours!
& fair on the italics 😅
