For applying the law? The court will judge if the proposal to transfer those funds are lawful and if they aren't, it will rule against it. Not because it favors Russia, but because Belgium wouldn't be following their own laws. Please stop being so simple minded.

If Belgium agrees to transfer those funds to Ukraine and Russia fights that decision in court and wins, Belgium will have to repay those funds. That's the risk they want Europe to share, instead of putting that risk on Belgium alone.

De onderbouw van die 2 lagere torentjes is wel bedroevend zeg. Wat een futloos en nietszeggend ontwerp zo direct naast de Codrico toren, aan het water met uitzicht over de Rijnhaven en Wilheminapier. Ambitieniveau mag daar wel een beetje omhoog.

They aren't always on public land and indeed you can't expect no one to ever use them. But that's different then thinking they are placed there with the intention for strangers to sit on. Two different things.
