I’d love to see a future of an “Airbnb” on the blockchain for local communities that is governed and managed by the COMMUNITY. No “Airbnb” if there is a housing shortage and only available when the community deem it necessary, holidays etc.

Classic → designer didn’t specify in design→ developer just populated field straight from db → PM didn’t test. 🫡

Surely they just wanted to hire someone with a strong domain pedigree to validate whatever bullshit they had going on to keep it as it is. 🙃

True that they’re barely there either. Could it be that twitter was a platform of its time. The community grew older and with Instagrams popularity the new generation went there rather than to twitter. Dunno 🤷🏼

I wonder where the problem lies? Yes, development of websites are already riddled with challenges so i know why it’s not a priority. But can we then simply opt out of it completely?! We as in developers and designers. And from product leadership also be prudent that it doesn’t creep in!?

In the beginning of the CSS3 era this was a novelty that frontend developers liked exploring, myself included 👋🏻. It was rarely provided by designers as the tooling for web animations wasn’t mature. The web was also different then so other “tech” like browsing on your phone took somehow precedence.
