Sharing as it's an interesting insight into what Beijing might want from a deal.

I can't imagine, for example, that there's any way Brussels could commit to stopping member states from intervening in situations they deem to be in their national security, whatever the situation

Ja, en dat wordt op Nerdvote ook geschreven. Maar, dat Volt niet genoeg stemmen kreeg voor 2 zetels, is niet iets waar de nerdvote mensen iets aan kunnen doen.

Wilders now repeats an easily debunked conspiracy theory that the software used to tabulate the votes is written by a D66 politician. Except it isn't the company HackDefense did security audits. Mind you, this isn't voting software, just tabulation, like excel photos.app.goo.gl/Hf5JNq1dvh34...

Wilders had 15K votes in Zaanstad, much more than D66. Number of total votes similar to previous years. So even Wilders should have known that these messages are fake app.nos.nl/nieuws/tk202...

Wilders now saying there could be voting fraud against him bsky.app/profile/inte...
Dutch populist Wilders now spreads disinformation about widespread voting fraud in the Netherlands. He precludes it by saying he doesn't know if it is true, but then does spread the messages about voting fraud against him (he's the only member of his party). #dutchelections

Dutch political scientists make prognoses to test scientific theories. Dutch political scientists don't gamble, that is unscientific ;-)

Disappointing result for the centre-left Green/Labour alliance. Wilders loses big, but his seats are picked up by other far right parties. The Christian Democrats are back from the (almost) dead. Conservative Liberal VVD does suprisingly well.
