Sarcastic mister know it all.
Is it a real democracy anymore? No! Was it ever?

I thought that, but Starmer doesn’t come out of it any better. For context, I normally try and give KS the benefit of the doubt. KS is a decent PM compared to the 4 that preceded him (low bar admittedly).

People seem to be like rabbits in the headlights about this, especially Democrat politicians. They are still talking about winning back power in free and fair elections, it could be a bit more urgent than that.

Probably the standard that Refuk want social housing to be.
January 30, 2026 at 9:44 AM
WTF do they vote for these people?
Damned if I know either. I’ve asked people what they make of reforms policies, especially at local elections and their voters don’t have a clue what they are.
January 30, 2026 at 5:01 AM
Half of Starmer’s aren’t even U turns, they are just him doing the opposite of what the media were speculating that he was going to do.
January 27, 2026 at 10:19 AM
Yes he is. Might be just me, but I think of the Parliamentary Labour Party as being just Westminster.
January 26, 2026 at 3:00 PM
Sorry Claire, I wasn’t posting in response to you. I am also pondering why someone who was blocked twice by the left wing is suddenly their darling.
January 25, 2026 at 4:44 PM
David Miliband was potentially electable by the voting public. Burnham was potentially electable by the voting public. Owen Smith was potentially electable by the voting public. We’ll never know, because they were stopped by the left wing. Don’t cry about Burnham being stopped now, you didn’t then.
January 25, 2026 at 4:14 PM
Corbyn and his cronies hounded out good people like Burnham and Owen Smith. Are they now indignant that Burnham hasn’t been allowed to try and re-join the parliamentary Labour Party?
January 25, 2026 at 1:49 PM
Actually saying the exact opposite of reality. On the subject of US media, they have mostly gone with the made up stuff again instead of reality.
January 25, 2026 at 1:19 PM
I’ve lost half the replies on this for some reason. Anyway, Zack and his fans seem to be confusing local elections (campaigning on now) and general elections ( not for a couple of years yet). Hence why I’m talking about potholes and others are talking about free spending plans.
January 25, 2026 at 1:13 PM
He does realise that these are local elections? We’re talking council tax, bins, potholes and social care. He’s not going to get billions from central government for any of it, the only choice is to put council tax up or cut other services. Neither is popular and Reform did both.
January 25, 2026 at 12:41 PM
I was trying to be facetious. Taking your house is a Blairite/Tory policy and subcontracting to the unregulated firms is a Reform policy, two things I definitely want to avoid. The questions I asked before are ones I ask of Reform voters, they never know the answer. Obviously Greens do. At a price.
January 24, 2026 at 3:30 PM
Jesus, that’s going to put council tax up.
January 24, 2026 at 2:59 PM
I have. It appears to be, “I’m going to tax rich people and everyone hates Starmer, so vote for me.” I can’t find anything about how often the bins will be emptied and how many recycling bins we’ll need. I can’t see anything about repairs to potholes or how much is needed for social care.
January 24, 2026 at 10:29 AM
Is Zack going to start campaigning on his policies? At the moment he seems to be saying, “The papers and tele say that everyone hates Starmer, so vote for me”.
January 24, 2026 at 8:13 AM
If they actually said those words, it would be the truest statement they ever made.
January 24, 2026 at 7:00 AM
I did over 10 years in the RAF and Chris couldn’t have summed it up better. It feels like Trump pissed on the memory of my dead former colleagues.
Well put as usual CWS.
January 23, 2026 at 10:17 AM
They’re actually accurately reporting the figures that Reform told them to.
January 22, 2026 at 3:03 PM
Trump doesn’t want to be in the UN gang anymore and he’s starting his own gang…
January 22, 2026 at 12:59 PM
Why the hell would the UK hold on to an island on the other side of the world to benefit a former ally? I agree that the headline shows Trump dismissing the deal and then the small print exposes him as stupid.
January 21, 2026 at 10:16 AM
Do we need an air base on the other side of the world if the U.S. are no longer our ally?
January 20, 2026 at 3:16 PM
Littlejohn says he would take him, warts and all. Would that be genital warts?
