Yeah theres at least several thousand people on at any given time. I usually just play with my roommate but most of the community is really chill.

Yeah the missions are tied to an online timer and reset every 30 minutes, but if you just play solo you get a little robot companion to help. There's also season passes but they're completely free. The DLC is all cosmetics.

Fair enough, but yeah, Deep Rock Galactic is a 1-4 Player Co-op shooter. You play as 4 cool Dwarves, shoot alien bugs, and mine minerals on a foreign planet. The cave generation is all procedurally generated.

Unfortunately, that implies they care about making people happy over just making money. I haven't watched the game awards in years outside of the Joker and Sephiroth reveal trailers for Smash anyways.

Elden Ring is indeed an absolutely goated video game, but like, why not highlight some other stuff for Goty. I'm certain Shadow of the Erdtree will get plenty of awards elsewhere.
