I have to wonder what he means by "Make America Wealthy 'Again'".

Real GDP Per Capita has been growing steadily all through the modern era. The US has just steadily gotten wealthier and wealthier.

These people live in an imaginary world.

During his first term Republicans were able to implement handlers who blocked his crazier stuff and he stole credit for the good economy he inherited.

He said crazy things but could not act.

This time he appears to be trying to install yes men as deranged as he is. We need to despair more.

I find it interesting that the US had 6 depressions in the era before strong financial regulations but only recessions after that.

It's almost like the regulations work.

What's more absurd Hillary Clinton won the popular vote margin of 2.09%.

Clinton had a bigger "landslide" in 2016 than Trump did in 2024.

Abolishing the FDIC would put us back in 1929.

I hear it was a fun year.

I just looked up the story. It's like the plot to "Office Space" but accidental.

Trump is the anti-Christ.

Mostly joking.

Yeah, it looks really bad on ABC for settling.

There must be something behind the scenes, like ABC/Disney wanting to get close to Trump.

He even told that to them directly.

They thought he was joking

In all fairness Times Man of the Year is not an endorsement.

Remember the 1938 Times Man of the Year.
