We were at the booth of Smart Energy Europe (smartEn) – both a consortium partner within INTELLIGENT and a co-organiser of the event.

The first advancement is:

⚡ Decentralised Open-Source P2P Trading Marketplace Leveraging Blockchain Technology ⚡

Another position is open within the INTELLIGENT Project's ecosystem: this time at the University of Cologne.

If you are passionate about energy systems, electricity market design, and decentralized trading, you could join their IS3 team as 'Research Associate in Smart Sustainable Energy Markets'.

A postdoc position is open at TUM as part of our project.

You'll help shape the future of local energy markets by developing new methods and software for prosumers, all within one of the world’s leading research clusters.

🚀 We’re excited to announce that the EU-funded INTELLIGENT project has officially launched its fully developed website – a major milestone in our mission to advance P2P energy and flexibility trading across Europe through cutting-edge innovation.

See you in Cologne next week, where we will hold our first General Assembly on 6–7 May.

The event will be hosted by the University of Cologne and co-organised R2M Spain, the project coordinator. This two-day meeting will bring together all 15 project partners.

The INTELLIGENT Project will be present at the BRIDGE General Assembly 2025, which is being held in Brussels today and tomorrow.

This is thanks to the participation of R2M Spain, our project coordinator. R2M Spain is bringing several EU projects to the assembly and one of them is INTELLIGENT.

INTELLIGENT follows a stakeholder-driven approach to promote INTELLIGENT business models across EU and beyond.

INTELLIGENT seeks to actively cooperate and cluster with relevant initiatives, such as #BRIDGE by #CINEA, #AIOTI and #INATBA, and aligns its mission with key EU dossiers.

⚡INTELLIGENT’s approach in developing effective *business models* encompasses every stage: from conceptualisation and open-source commitment, to forging collaborative partnerships and achieving seamless integration into the market, to establishing the processes and rules for platform utilisation.

⚡INTELLIGENT will be demonstrated in virtual, hardware-in-the-loop and real scenarios in 4 #EnergyCommunity pilots in Portugal, Ireland and Switzerland, serving as early adopters.

⚡INTELLIGENT harnesses the SSH expertise, provided by Austrian Institute of Technology, and regulatory expertise, provided by Smart Energy Europe, to deeply understand user preferences and define technical and legal requirements for core platform operations.

Exactly two months ago, the INTELLIGENT Project was launched with an online Kickoff Meeting.

Until we meet in-person in Cologne this spring, here's a glimpse of the people behind INTELLIGENT.
