Today’s #BOTW is a Gothic novel rather than straightforward #crimefiction. Natalia Theodoridou’s enigmatic Sour Cherry (2025) is a skilled retelling of Bluebeard. It may be set in a far-away land, & a far-away time but it's made painfully current by giving his victims a voice.
