One of the best things organizations can do is create opportunities for employees to see their skills reflected back at them—clearly and constructively. Use skills-based self-assessments, build in reflective moments during training, create a feedback receptive environment.

I'd love to find someone who only does what their job description lists! Not really - that would be so boring. As we learn what people's individual gifts and interests are, job responsibilities morph and sometimes the job barely resembles the initial job description.

I view it as designing around actual capabilities, not roles, and then mapping those skills to outcomes. It, in essence, transforms my role from content creator to capability enabler!

Technology can effectively support the diverse nature of the individuals in our classes by creating more accessible options for communication/interaction. But we have to let them know what is available! Like the slide translation option in Teams - super helpful but only if they know about it.
