For 21 years, I've helped people navigate the health insurance market for a living. The Affordable Care Act (enacted in 2010) has been a game-changer for millions. Prior to ACA, 6 out of 10 of my applicants for health coverage were denied access to a policy because of their pre-existing conditions.
