With the shape language I mean that Velo has way more of an angular and energetic design, especially when angry/fired up alongside a more warm color palette, while Joy's design is more round and has a cooler color palette (except for the shades)

I'm definitely not one of the people who almost immediately lock the #GDQ Virtual Attendee badge in and collect them bc they're absolutely adorable and I totally don't have any and all cuteness aggression with the mascots, nope/j
The virtual Attendee badges from SGDQ 2023, AGDQ 2024, Frost Fatales 2024 and SGDQ 2024. The first two badges depict the GDQ mascot Velocity in different styles, the SGDQ 2023 one in a style adjacent to claymation and the AGDQ 2024 one in a more pastel style. The Frost Fatales 2014 badge shows the Frame Fatales mascot Faith in a detective outfit while looking though a magnifying glass and the SGDQ 2024 badge depicts all three mascots, Velocity, Faith and the Hotfix mascot Coop, who got revealed the same year. The GDQ badges have partially silver foil on them, which is an incentive during the pre-order of the badges throughout the GDQ events.
