The reason we import so many items is because they are cheaper. Now, many cost more. That makes zero sense! Why would anyone do this to the country he supposedly loves so much?

This is a violation of the Equal Protection Clause of the 5th Amendment. And gives cause for action given how DoD is approaching this.
