Arsenal are playing some world class stuff, but I still wouldn’t think anything like a treble or quadruple is on the cards. You don’t go from winning nothing for years to winning it all in one year

If anything, I think last nights result actually puts more pressure on Chelsea to win this weekend! They already need to win if they want to be in a title race, but maybe now some of their fans will expect a win?

Arsenal are vastly better than this Barcelona team tbf. They have something like the 8th or 9th best defensive record in La Liga. Great win for Chelsea all the same, but they have really struggled with Arsenal’s physicality over the last few years & I see no reason for that to change

I think it’ll be a different kind of game as all the pressure will be on Chelsea. If they do have serious aspirations about challenging for the title then anything less than a win isn’t good enough. Arsenal will be more than happy to sit in, frustrate them & then hit on the counter as a draw will do

Playing an Ange style high line should be an immediately sackable offence. Who in their right mind looks at a team with Neto and Estevao up front and says “let’s camp our comically slow back four on the halfway line”?!

Tbh I think you’d be surprised, as talking negatively about LFC in any way seems to have become a very touchy subject on BlueSky. It’s still definitely not as bad as on other apps, but for the most part they bought in to their own hype to begin the season so much that they won’t go back on it now

Should be a cracker at the weekend. Realistically all the pressure is on CFC for that, as if they have genuine ambitions of winning the title then they will have to attack the game. AFC on the other hand can afford to sit in and try to make things awkward, as a draw would be more than acceptable

Gyökeres would be the one on the end of that pass. I don’t get people making this point as you want your main goalscorer scoring goals. If Gyökeres starts dropping off 35 yards when we’re in possession then we have serious problems

To be fair to Spurs they can also put on a decent show sometimes at the new stadium on big European nights, but that’s mostly just flag walking and a light show. Chelsea really are pathetic though in that regard!

Going back to your second point actually, and obviously I really rate the Palace fanbase and the tifos they can produce. You ask if the “AA” could do better, but they produced two absolutely woeful AI slop tifos which is why the club had to go with their own design. Seriously they were embarrassing!
