First bag of manual no. 3 (last part of the tower). While building I had music playing on my phone on shuffle and fittingly it played "Sauron" by @theslackersband.bsky.social :D

Picture of the third and last manual for building the tower. It shows the lord of the rings logo, the Lego logo and a picture of the upper part of the tower with Sauron's eye on the top. Bag 28 and a smallish platform with black and grey stones. Not much to see yet, maybe 2cm high.

Actually did this yesterday as well... Bag 27 was the final bag of the slim first floor manual.

Bag 27 and a part of the outer wall of the tower. It's another kind of spiry thing. Lots of spires on this tower. Inside of the first floor, it's the dining hall. There's a table with sausage and chicken legs, bones and goblets. Also a barrel to drink from and a cauldron filled with food is hanging over the lava grill. The first floor and second floor joined together! Wait, fuck, I was constantly talking about the first floor (by German measure) when I meant the (American) second floor. Ok, the ground floor and the first floor have been joined together... We see the outside, there's the gate and the many spires, and more spires... The backside of the joined floors. You can see inside the tower.

Outside of the first floor of the tower. 6 support column kinda things have been attached to the (half circle shaped) wall. Unfortunately they're half brown and half black. Should have been all black, imo. A little spire put on the outside of the first floor, on the kinda balcony thing from a few bags back. All black. On the left and right of it are two flaming torches.

Some decoration for the wall, and a little... Spire? Tower? Directly behind the lava grill.

The content of bag 25 is lying ont he table, black, dark and light grey bricks in all kinds of shapes. A small spire on the left (out)side of the first floor. It's completely black.

The outer wall is growing upwards,with mostly black bricks and some grey vertical brick lines in-between. The dining hall received a grey beam from one side to the other (above the grill and the opposite wall)

The rest of the wall of the dining hall is finished. And we have a lava grill! That's right, no measly lava stone grill, no, a lava grill!

The other half of the outer dining room wall from the outside. The wall from the inside. There's a little sign in "orcish" writing. Looks like scribbles, but is actually saying "Menu". And there's a piece of meat on a bone drawn under the word menu. Because... Meat is back on the menu, boys! And girls. And all in-between and around. Oh, almost forgot the lava grill. It's... A grill. Over a puddle of lava. But there's also a stream of lava coming from above, constantly feeding the puddle.

I was busy yesterday. Or bored.
Bonus info from the manual is wrong, btw. The three rings weren't -given- to the elves by Sauron, the elves made them themselves without Sauron's involvement, after the other rings were forged.

Don't worry, only 18 bags left!
Half of the baseplate has a wall now and a kinda balcony looking thing on top of the corner of the wall. The wall from the outside. It has a brown stripe of bricks at the bottom, the rest is mostly black bricks with a grey vertical stripe in the middle. Info text from the manual. Text says: The hidden nook in the rocks hides the designs of the three rings given to the elves.

Because bag 20 was finished so quickly that I forgot to take a picture and just continued with bag 21.

Part of the baseplate of the first floor. Well. It's just the picture in the manual as I forgot to take a picture after finishing bag 20. Complete baseplate of the first floor, more or less half circle shaped. Mostly grey Lego baseplate, the rounded edge is tiled with smooth black tiles.

Two more, tall spires on the outside of the tower's walls, as well as a small gate arch in front of the way to the larger gate. Bag 19 is in the background. There's two orcs (from bag 18) standing in front of the small arch. One brownish skinned with helmet and sword, the other green skinned with forge hammer and sword in the other hand.

A lot of small Lego parts on the comic table. The interior of the tower's ground floor has some "furniture" now. Well. It's more like a forge. There's an anvil, a grindstone, a bucket full of water and a bucket with forged weapons (a spear and an Uruk sword). There's also racks for helmets, shields and armour. Oh, almost forgot the poor guy in a cage dangling above a lava pit. Yeah, I only now realized that the orange part of the floor is lava. The floor is literally lava. And the guy isn't a guy anymore, he's a skeleton. Closeup of the friendly skeleton in the cage.

Some parts of the Lego bricks have been panelled and are now smooth. The bag number 17 is lying besides the tower ground floor. Some more flooring, doesn't look as much like a construction site anymore.

There's a square frame on the baseplate from bag 15 with a mechanism in the middle and two axles to the left and right. The square baseplate has been slid into the rest of the tower, the former U shape is now a half circle. Empty bag 16 is in the background. The tower so far from the top. Half circle shaped, 5 prongs sticking out of the wall in equal distance to each other
