Mean Gene definitely did know what was in the egg and his attempt to translate what transpired was equally confounding. Described as a rooster tail with feathers and a pair of legs like Mean Gene’s mother-in-law, GG jumped down from his platform and cut a promo in his curated Gooker language. 115/

If they did know what would come out of that egg, then the reaction was a measured and deft attempt to not even try to explain the unexplainable. Either way, they failed to latch on to anything of any significance to get the Gooker over for the people watching at home. 114/ #wrestlesky

GG managed to put two and two together to realize The Undertaker was Mark Calaway, which would explain the rather pale-skinned zombie GG briefly saw in the locker room. 106/

He does remember the debut of The Undertaker. Unable to see, GG could hear the hushed whispers of the crowd and the entrance music - an organ heavy funeral dirge that moved some of the children in the audience to tears. 104/

He didn’t remember being wheeled out into the crowd or the doors being opened or the crowd filling the seats. GG’s memory of the matches on the card that he sat through - nearly the entire show - is hazy at best. 103/

For the first time, GG got into the Gobbledygooker costume for a live audience that wasn’t Vince and Bruce. GG was reminded of how hard it was to see through the golf ball eyes. He needed assistance getting into the egg, but once he was in there his breathing and meditation took over. 102/

As he was stretching, he noticed a new member of the locker room. At six feet ten inches tall, Mark Calaway was a giant among giants and easy to pick out as the new guy. GG knew him from working in Texas. He caught a passing glimpse of Calaway in a changing room, before the door was shut. 99/
