some of the most potent trauma that has kept me from feeling fully in tune with my soul is just a rube goldberg machine of scenarios in which someone could have actively decided to just like be a little more chill about stuff that caused no harm

and god the past couple years i've realized to my utter horror that the absolute WORST version of me that made the most mistakes & treated people the most poorly has always been, & will always be, the version of me that suppresses my heart in the interest of standards of purity i'll never reach

so basically it's actually pretty fucking awesome to be a nasty roll around in the dirt needs and desires human being whose primary goal is to bring as much joy and comfort to as many other human beings as possible with zero pretense of what may or may not come after. just lighten the fuck up!!!
