Beach kept this all close until the end of Murphy's term. Now he's trying to get it in place BEFORE Mikie is sworn in so she has no say. Like joyce mentioned, he is quashing public discussion about it. Speakers were limited to 3.5 minutes, but the clock only ran if they were against his plan.

NJ has several watchdogs which are proving very effective. They report to & are appointed by different offices. Beach is abusing his leadership position to ram through changes to dismantle all of them. He wants to pick the leaders, have them all to report to him, and eliminate their term limits.

Spot on. The specifics of Norcross's desire to declaw a watchdog digging into his corrupt practices are out there for all to see. What is hidden are the details of the changes his lapdog Beach wants to ram through to protect him. All cloaked by phony claims of efficiency and consolidation.

Still doesn't hurt as bad as the Midnight Massacre and won't take as long to recover from. But it's a tough pill.

Solid front of the rotation starter. After his playing days, he was maybe the best post game analyst the Mets ever had. Then SNY fired the producer and Bobby O was forced to do both jobs. Since he was doing double work, he asked for a raise. The cheap suits at SNY let him walk instead.

Maybe, but DH ONLY! Keep him off the field! Maybe the worst defender I have ever seen. When he was with the Cubs, he was so bad it was actually funny to watch, (except for Cub fans).

No way the '79 MVP should have been shared. Keith had a monster year and won it outright. Willie got a lot of "lifetime achievement" feel good votes. I always liked Willie, but this was just wrong.
