They reach such a high defensive ceiling without Trae, and it would be easier to solve the offense without trying to mess with Trae’s defincies on the roster. But if they can’t solve those two things, then idk if they can really move from Trae yet.

Really need to see two things:
1. Can they win games against top 6 seeded teams from each conference?
2. Can they close games without looking like shit?
If both of those answers are yes before Trae comes back, I’m probably fine with moving from Trae (despite how much it would hurt the fan in me)

Do you think the JPJ trade was a good trade overall right now or we need more time to judge? We got Watts and JPJ, but I fucking hate we traded our first pick because we underperform expectations every year and it would be nice to have that pick.

My problem is that how long is Trae willing to wait for to Jalen/dyson/Zacch to grow? And what if they don’t manage to grow into the elite options people think they can be. They are still very reliant on Trae and what if that doesn’t change? We will basically be capped at a certain level.
