If this isn't fascinating and jaw-dropping, I don't know what is.

I admit, I'm not half the brain that Susanna is (in regard to both her math and knitting skills), so I really appreciate how she's making an effort to explain her domain expertise to us laypersons.

Cutting costs by radically and imprudently downsizing branches of the government might seem efficient in normal times.

However, it will certainly look incredibly stupid when the next national crisis emerges. Incredibly stupid.

Jess is right. We have enough viable alternatives. No one needs X. Twitter's dead. It died the moment Musk took over.

I also call on all European and (especially) German official institutions to stop relying on non-European big tech. It's a risk we can no longer afford.
For the love of God…get off Twittter.

Perfectly reasonable 🙌🏻 Fight fascism, fight it everywhere, and fight it the way you deem fit.
Hey, an occasional reminder:

Should you be fighting fascism here in the US? Yes, you should!

Are you the one who decides how best you can do that? Yes, you are!

Should the people who decide that you're not doing it right (i.e., the way they want you to) fuck off into the sun? Yes, they should!

The most beautiful (and at times also most irritating) character trait of freedom is that it only truly exists if it exists for all.

Freedom only for some means freedom for none. That makes freedom both so powerful and brittle a concept.

Every billionaire is a potential threat to democracy and society because of the mere power their wealth affords them.

This world doesn't need billionaires. This world needs democracies that are strengthened against the corrosive influence of the filthy lucre.

AOC: What they like to call as radical, I believe is common sense.

I believe that when a person gets sick, they shouldn’t go bankrupt in the wealthiest country in the history of the world. Common sense

I believe that a minimum wage should cover the minimum cost to live. Common sense...

Funny how China demands respect for its state of law while upholding capital punishment.

Let me say it clearly: A "state of law" that resorts to capital punishment is, by definition, not a state of law proper. It is still a tyranny.
Breaking News: China executed four Canadians over drug-related convictions, Canada said, a development that threatens to worsen an already tense relationship.
Canada Condemns China’s Execution of 4 Canadians on Drug Charges
Canada’s foreign minister said the government would continue to ask for leniency from China for other Canadians in similar situations.

Okay, folks, I'm here now 👋🏻. For better or worse, we'll have to get along now 🤷🏻‍♂️...

So, let's establish some parameters: I'm more than happy to agree to disagree with you should you stray off the track of reason.

You have been warned. Let's do this 🙌🏻
