Hello Bluesky! 👋 We are INQYR (International Partnership for Queer Youth Resilience), a SSHRC-funded interdisciplinary and multilingual international research partnership designed to understand and support the resilience of LGBTQIA2S+ youth through technology-engaged research.
Transgender Day of Remembrance 🕯️🏳️‍⚧️

We honour the trans and gender-diverse lives lost to violence–a crisis that continues to intensify worldwide.

Today, we grieve with loved ones. Tomorrow, we continue the fight for safety, dignity, and justice for all trans people.

🏳️‍⚧️ 📸 ✨For Trans Awareness Week we are highlighting snapshoT: a study using photo-elicitation to explore the lives of trans and non-binary youth in the U.S. Through images and interviews, the project examines identity, culture, resilience, and online/offline experiences.

Coming out is a personal choice that shouldn’t feel pressured. Digital spaces can offer queer and trans youth connection, learning, and resilience to make coming out feel safer.

You are a valid part of the community, no matter where you are on your coming out journey. ❤️

💜💙🩷 Bisexual Awareness Week

Participants in our video gaming study, LEVEL UP! 🎮, taught us that representation matters. Too often, bisexuality is framed as a “phase." In The Last of Us 2, Dina is a thoughtful exception to this trend.

Here’s to seeing more representation like this in media!

This #BisexualAwarenessWeek, we're spotlighting research from @drliamcahill.bsky.social! His study shows how bisexual men are often grouped as "sexual minority men," ignoring the nuance of their experiences. This article reminds us to continue to resist bi erasure! 🩷💜💙
