Pat Dugan, a former judge, lost the Democratic primary in May and secured nominations through write-in votes to run as a Republican.

Dugan said if he could, he’d change the Republican “R” suffix on his ballot to a “P” for “Philadelphia” because he’s running for everyone. (1/2)

Hoboken has had zero traffic deaths since the beginning of 2017. By contrast, Philadelphia had 134 traffic deaths last year, 59 of which involved pedestrians hit by vehicles.

What can the city learn? Advocates say a “culture of accountability” is paramount.

Lucky’s Great Wiener Race is more than just an opportunity to watch dachshunds race — it benefits the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society.

The race took over Manayunk earlier this month when dozens of dachshunds competed to be top dog of the hot dogs.
