Same here. He reminds me a lot of the non-political centrist friends I have that vote. It’s all vibes. That’s why having someone charismatic matters so much. They win over low information voters. I see him as being very valuable to have around as he does represent most voters.

Yeah. We can’t even come to a consensus about I/P and that’s fine. I think it’s great to have differing viewpoints. I don’t want to be lock step with every person on the left about every issue.

I agree with your points. I find it weird when people accuse the left of being an echo chamber. We have all sorts of points of contention. I get plenty of pushback from others on the left for my views and I push back as well. Just bc we aren’t shouting each other down doesn’t make it an echo chamber

I understand what you’re saying but you can’t hold people accountable to refuse to even acknowledge they are the problem. I think that’s time better spent reflecting on what Democrats can do to better serve the people.

I don’t even see the point of laying blame. What’s done is done. I think the Democratic Party has to own the mistakes that it’s made and do better for the American people.

I think it’s hard concept for people to grasp because they don’t even understand why highly processed fast food is bad for you and why the nutritional value of your food is important for overall health.

I knew this w/o anyone even telling me. I engaged with almost no political content on Twitter and I got pushed right wing content constantly. It wasn’t well known accounts either. It was the sort of stuff that a decade ago you would have assumed was parody or satire. Weird stuff to get pushed.

It probably is a bit of an echo chamber but it’s nice seeing people engaging with each other in replies instead of just lobbing around ad homs.
