Especially since abstract art has no subject; for me it is purely feeling and instinct and expression. I do find myself wishing I could draw my characters that I “see” so vividly in my purely conceptual mind, but I try to write stories with them and doodle when I can. (3/3)

I have always been great at looking at a photo for reference when it comes to drawing realism like portraits or up close drawings of beetles, but conjuring up my own art is hard. In high school, I discovered the beauty of abstract art and it resonates with me greatly. (2/3)
