We must keep pushing for justice that is truly inclusive. This means more than recognition — it means action. It means changing the systems that continue to exclude, harm or overlook LGBTQIA+ people.

Because while we’ve seen progress, the fight is far from over. LGBTQIA+ people — especially trans and gender-diverse people, people of colour, and those in institutional settings — continue to face disproportionate harm, systemic discrimination, and threats to their safety and human rights.

From now to next, we draw on past lessons to challenge injustice, centre lived experience and amplify Indigenous voices in the pursuit of transformative change. Reconciliation is not a destination — it is an ongoing practice of respect, partnership, and truth.
